sea change in and around Surathkal.
I still can see the
temple,the sea on other side of the road going
towards Udipi in my dream.

hostels, department,those classes i used sit for exam study in holidays. I can not forget those sweet memories of surathkal,
Mangalore city, Panambur, and off course SHETTY's shop just near the hosten gate. Do not know whether that shop is still
existing. I used come at night to have a cane juice during exam. Really it is hard to forget my KREC. |

KREC is perhaps one of
the most beautiful residential schools I can think of, not just in India, world over. While I was holed up there for 5 years,
never appreciated the natural surroundings. I am thankful for the faculty and the staff who gave us their best. I would
appreciate if there is a way to post some nostalgic photos. I do have some black and white photos (way way before Al Gore
invented Internet); I don’t think some of them would pass the decency ratings :-)) and should stay with my private
collection.
